Watch Party
Overview
Third party systems such as "Netflix party" & "Scener" host virtual theaters on Netflix, but it it's more more advantageous to both users and Netflix's business goals by competing with these third parties.
In this project I designed how the platform can established human connections in a digital age. I applied Fitt's Law to this scenario to make the action easily selectable and my final deliverable received positive response with much praise.
My process included product definition, research, analysis (competitive analysis, user surveys, and user personas), Predesign and design (sketching, wireframes, user flow, prototyping) and validation (feedback from teacher and peers).

I conducted user research to understand my audience and to become more familiar with their wants, needs and behaviors.
Data collected:
• Informed how often and why users seek Netflix services
• Their selection criteria and challenges when finding chosen shows/movies
• Fed into my competitor analysis which identified HULU as Netflix's biggest competitor
