Mixed Media
As a visual creative from day one, having attended one of the top art programs in the nation to earn my BFA, I have a strong sense of design intuition.
Prior to discovering UX/UI design I started as an arts student and greatly enjoyed my drawing and sculpture courses. These are some of my personal favorites of Sculpture, Painting and Photography.
Sculpture
Cups Painting
Using a wooden canvas built by hand this artwork examined the color relationships and is open to interpretation such as the passing of time as cups fill and decrease. The mystery of where the liquid has gone? And more.  (18 in x 24 in)
Circles & Arches Sculpture
Utilizing tension this structure is self supporting by having slots between each piece. The inspiration included doorways &. archways being the start and finish of a journey. (5'3" x 5'4")
Heart Sculpture
Constructed using chicken wire and Papier-mâché, this process was laborious due to the barbed formation of the wire. This piece examines the conflicting directions our logic v.s. our emotions can pull us into  (4 ft x 3 ft)
Wings
Assembled using plastic pieces, spray paint and paint samples, this piece adorned the human body with a full set of wings. (human size: 5'4")
Seven Piece Photographs
Articulating the frustrations women face in a male gaze society, this photography exploration used a collage method by combining staged photographs with lettering and numbers found in street signage to create a story.
