Fireside Chats

Dashboard design for iPad view.
Overview
We created a video conferencing tool for young creatives in BRIDGEGOOD community. Our feature allows young creatives to expand their network by attending themed chats where they "ignite a flame" within the industry.
Aligning with BRIDGEGOOD's business goals, our platform keeps design education accessible when supporting the next generation of designers. Fireside Chats would increase their scalability and focuses on quality over quantity while maintaining it's low maintenance element.
I had the honor of hosting my company's live stream to over 100 professionals and showcased my team's work on Bay Area KPIX CBS news for our Jefferson Award Feature.
My Role: As lead Product Designer & researcher, I played a large part in project leadership, strategic planning decisions, ideation, concept design, prototyping, and user research. A challenging prospect our team faced was not biting off more than we can chew. I brought my team back to the drawing board to reevaluate what the most necessary components were for us to solve the issue we were targeting. I also conducted 50% of our interviews.
Our Team: Anna Marrero Raymond Huang, Elaine Lin, Tori Spiegel

• Extending the BRIDGEGOOD community
• Breaking barriers when entering the workforce

Young creatives I personally interviewed and collected data about their difficulties.
Affinity mapping and rose bud thorn exercises revealed the problem at hand to solve for our users:
There is a great divide between young creatives and those who are already established in the design industry
